JOINTBOND®
Good asphalt maintenance can never begin too soon.
In fact, JOINTBOND® was designed to help minimize asphalt maintenance by penetrating newly placed asphalt pavement and stabilizing the critical area surrounding the longitudinal construction joint.
JOINTBOND® is a polymerized maltene emulsion that is spray applied to the joint area, approximately one foot to one and one half to either side of the joint.
A JOINTBOND® application completely penetrates the pavement surface, leaving no surface coating. Paint striping is not compromised by a JOINTBOND® application.
